Psychiatrist

Duties & Responsibilities: A psychiatrist cares for people who have mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. They:

• Observe patient’s behavior, listen to their concerns, And record their condition
• Lead patients in therapeutic and recreational activities
• Give medications and treatments to other patients
• Monitor patient's behavior and location in a mental health care facility

Salary: $28,470

Education: Must have a postsecondary certificate or an associate's degree and a high school diploma.

Reflection: I would like to be a psychiatrist because it seems nice to help out those with disabilities in a way that will help them get better and not feel alone in the process to it.
