Pharmacist

Duties & Responsibilities: A Pharmacist undergoes university-level of education to understand the biochemical mechanism and actions of drugs, drug uses, therapeutic roles, side effects, potential drug interactions, and monitoring parameters.

• Fill prescriptions
• Give flu shots
• Advice patients about general health topics

Salary: $120,950

Education: They are required to have a Doctor of Pharmacy(Pharm.D) degree, a postgraduate professional degree.

Demand For This Profession:The demand is projected to increase/grow 3% from 2014-2024, slower than the average for all occupations.

 

Reflection: Personally I would not like to be a Pharmacist. To me it seems like a boring career. I do not like to deal with other people's nasty attitudes either.
