9/11 Memorials

On September 11, 2001 the twin towers in New York were attacked by hijacked airplanes. The first plane struck at 8:45 am burning a hole on the 80th floor of the 110th story building.

The second plane struck 18 minutes later slicing the tower through the 60th floor. At around 10:30am the second tower struck collapsed and was turned into dust.The attackers were Islamic terorrists from Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations. During this day, over 3000 people and 343 firefighters/paramedics were killed. The islamic terrorists decided to attack this way because they did not have the capacity to destroy the United States militarly.
