Duties &Responsibilities:Acupuncture is a system of complementary medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles. It is used to alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Their tasks consist of:

•         Make a diagnosis and devising a personalized treatment plan.
•         Take a details case history that includes: about your condition, all aspects of  physical and emotional health history, lifestyle, diet and blood pressure.
•         They take pulse and examine the tongue to aid diagnosis
•         They explain, answer your questions or any concerns to the about the diagnosis and treatment.
•         They insert needles into the skin in particular locations to stimulate energy flow along meridians(energy channels)
•         They asses patient progress through questioning and examination.
•         They keep patient and financial records; and they organize and promote your practice.

Salary:$35,900 - $72,700

Education:Must have bachelor’s degree and post-baccalaureate certificates.

No, I wouldn’t like to be one. This job takes so much concentration and focus and I am not one of those persons, I’m the type that gets distracted easily.
